Live count will be for 20 individuals (minimum) of a mix of sizes, please check our delivery information before ordering. We sell in a 20 count of individuals so this should be enough to generally start your own colony of most isopod species. DO NOT RELEASE ANY NON-NATIVE SPECIES INTO THE WILD.
All our Livestock is listed, however when it is shown as out of stock/ 0 stock, then we are culturing it ready for sale for the future, please check back, our stock is updated on an almost daily basis due to this.
Full care datasheet will be available to download as soon as your purchase has been made.
A more advanced species, the Cubaris sp. “Rubber Ducky”, originally from Thailand, they will survive in a warmer range of temperatures 20°C to 26°C (approx), preferring much more humid conditions than Mediterranean species, a good humidity gradient is best practice.
As always setups should include a rich isopod suitable substrate of decayed hardwood, with an area for hydration (Sphagnum Moss) and calcium source. They will also enjoy hides from cork flats or egg trays or similar decor.
The Cubaris sp. “Rubber Ducky” is know to not be the fastest of breeders but can breed throughout the year.
